Our first time stopping here en route from NC to NoVa. The place was very clean and service was quick. Everyone was very friendly, including the group at the next table! It's apparently under new management (she introduced herself as the new manager so must be pretty recent). Burger was cooked to order and very good and really enjoyed the fries too! Pepsi products (my favorite) as well. Ladies room was clean (men's room needed some attention but overall clean)

What a charming little spot! I've passed by here for the last few years and finally decided to check it out. I ordered a burger and some mozzarella sticks, and I must say, they were fantastic. A big shoutout to the new employee who just started--she was incredibly friendly!

Great burgers, friendly service and fair prices. Every time I'm in town I make at least a couple visits here to enjoy their food and certainly tell people about them. The owner and staff are very attentive and friendly (once, the owner made a very delicious homemade cucumber salad I was lucky enough to sample), their burgers have been consistently good since I started coming here in 2017 and every person I told that came here has had great things to say about them.

Stopped here while on our way down Raleigh. I have been to the Petersburg area several times for basketball coverage, but never have seen this spot. To be honest we were on our way to Roma (which was closed on a Friday night - all you need to know about a business) and saw this deciding to double back. In terms of decor - TOTAL GREASY SPOON, DIVEY place - and nothing wrong with that at all. Burger stand, bar seating, dollar bills on the wall with notes, etc. We ordered cheese curds to start which came with ranch. These were standard - nothing too crazy one way or the other that would move the needle. For my burger I went with a 1/2lb cheeseburger (that's right) and got it with LTO and the three major condiments. Would have liked to see a little more cheese with a 1/2lb boy, but the meat was seasoned and the bun was fresh. Our waitress was attentive, and from what I could glean in the place was the waitresses were Large Michael's daughter and wife? Anyway - family place, a lot of locals, and the service was nice. Would recommend!

Like a time warp. Friendly waitresses, lots of locals eat here, and I can see why! Fresh cut Fries, my wife and I had to share a burger it was so big! Bacon Burger? Must have had 6 slices on it. We"ll be back to try the rest of the menu! Outdoor patio if you want to bring the pups!! Drive slow when looking for this place, it's right on the side of the road!

Don't be fooled by this hole in the wall. Great food..... fresh cut fries were so yummy as was the burger. The place could use a good cleaning but would definitely visit again if passing through.

I put this location on my maps app, and at first I thought I was lost but this burger place is somewhat hidden in the dark, by a gravel parking lot. The food was very delicious, and the people there were very nice. Somewhat quick, but fresh. I would say top 3 burgers in my life.
